Collin County continues to see an extraordinary wave of new business openings as the region's population growth drives demand for retail, dining, and services. Here is a roundup of what is opening across the county this month. Frisco: The Frisco restaurant scene continues to expand along the Preston Road, Lebanon Road, and Main Street corridors. Several new fast casual and sit-down dining concepts are opening this summer as developers complete multiple mixed-use projects in the city. The Star District near the Dallas Cowboys headquarters continues to attract new food and beverage concepts. New retail is opening at several Frisco shopping centers including Stonebriar Centre area and the newer developments along FM 423. Health and wellness businesses including fitness studios, med spas, and urgent care clinics continue to be among the fastest-growing business categories in Frisco. McKinney: Historic downtown McKinney continues to attract locally owned boutiques, restaurants, and specialty shops to its walkable square. Several new concepts have signed leases for space opening this summer and fall. McKinney's Adriatica Village and Craig Ranch developments are also seeing new business activity. Plano: Legacy West remains one of the hottest retail and restaurant destinations in all of North Texas with new openings regularly joining the development. Downtown Plano's arts district continues to attract creative businesses and food and beverage concepts. Celina: As one of the fastest-growing cities in Texas Celina is beginning to see the retail and restaurant development that typically follows rapid residential growth. Several national chains have announced or confirmed locations in Celina opening in 2026 and 2027.
