World Cup 2026 Dallas Games: How Collin County Fans Can Get Tickets, Parking and Access ATT Stadium
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is here and Collin County residents are sitting in one of the best positions in the entire country. ATT Stadium in Arlington is just 35 to 45 minutes from most of Collin County, making this a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the world's biggest sporting event without boarding a plane. What Games Are Being Played in Dallas: The Dallas metro area is one of the premier host cities for World Cup 2026. ATT Stadium is hosting multiple group stage matches, round of 16 games, and quarterfinal matches. The full schedule is available at fifa.com. How to Get Tickets: Official tickets are sold through FIFA's ticketing portal at tickets.fifa.com. Resale tickets are available on StubHub, SeatGeek, and Ticketmaster. Group stage tickets range from $150 to $500 depending on the match. Knockout round tickets are significantly higher. Check daily as last-minute tickets frequently become available as the tournament progresses. Getting There from Collin County: From Frisco take the Dallas North Tollway south to I-30 west. Total drive time is approximately 40 minutes without traffic. From McKinney take US-75 south to I-30 west. From Plano take the Dallas North Tollway or US-75 south. Allow significant extra time on match days as traffic around ATT Stadium is intense on game days. Parking at ATT Stadium: Official stadium parking lots open three hours before kickoff. Prices range from $40 to $80 depending on lot location. Book parking in advance at attstadium.com or through SpotHero. Lots fill completely on major match days. Rideshare is strongly recommended for anyone coming from Collin County. DART and Transit Options: DART does not directly serve ATT Stadium from Collin County. The closest option is to drive or rideshare to a DART Red Line station and then take the TRE Trinity Railway Express to Centrepoint Station near the stadium. Check dart.org for current World Cup transit schedules as special services have been added. Best Places to Watch in Collin County: If you cannot get to Arlington the World Cup atmosphere is alive in Collin County. Restaurants and sports bars showing every match include locations throughout Frisco, McKinney, and Plano. Look for venues with large screens and early opening times for morning matches.
